Insurance Coverage Outline

This Insurance Coverage is written through the North American Racing Association (NARA). The NARA is a non‑profit organization formed to assist drag racing participants. To purchase insurance through the association you must be a member and your vehicle must be raced at an Insured and Sanctioned event. If you are not currently a member the $30 annual membership fee will be added to the cost of the insurance. To become a member of the NARA you must also be a member of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) or the Good Guys.

The Insurance Coverage provided is "PHYSICAL DAMAGE" coverage only. It covers your racecar at all times including racing. There is no coverage for Bodily Injury or Property Damage to other people's property. The insurance is broken down into three (3) categories. They are:

      1.    Racing. Coverage is provided from the water box to the beginning of the return road.

      2.    Non‑Racing. Coverage is provided for your racecar until your in the water box and picks up again at the beginning of the return road.

      3.      Trailer and Contents. Coverage is provided for your trailer and the contents therein used to service you racecar.

Insurance is available up to $ 100,000, stated value. Premiums can be paid through your VISA credit card.
